What All-on-4 means
The name All-on-4 means “all on four”. A whole arch of teeth is held by four implants; the teeth are fixed in place and are not taken out.
Implants
A dental implant replaces the tooth root. With this method the front implants are placed straight and the back ones at an angle.
The replacement teeth
A replacement for the whole arch of teeth is attached to the implants by means of abutments.
Before the procedure
Before the implants are placed, we examine you and plan the procedure using an X-ray. We describe the images we take in the article Which X-ray images we take.
Care
Teeth on implants need the same care as your own: clean them at home and come for regular check-ups and dental hygiene.
